Mollies Birthday

Hellooooo
Today I have a card that I have made for my little niece who is seven on the saturday 21st of May. Mollie loves Pink, loves anything sparkly and loves their little dog Poppy who looked like this cutie. Sadley the dog has since gone to be with nanny Beryl in heaven, but I think she will love to see a picture of her on her card as she is always talking about her.

Any way I also would like to enter this card into some challenges

Mothers Day 2

Morning Campers!
Today I have the second card I made for Mothers day which was for Hubby's Mum. I love my In-Laws although not alot of people can say that of theirs. So I did enjoy making this card for her.

As you can see I had a little problem with matching the Martha Stewart punch up down the side of the card but I think I got away with it! Some of my old friends would probably laugh and say " Ha Ha...she does make mistakes after all!" Anyway the background flowers are from a Penny Black stamp I have had for a long time and thought it went well with my magnolia as she was holding a basket of flowers that looked the same. I coloured them all with my Promarkers and then embossed the dots along the bottom with my cuttlebug. This was quite a simple but effective card to do and handy too considering I was making it just before going out the door to deliver it! Anyway Mother In-Law was thrilled with it and I don't think she noticed the mistake...or if she did she was a dear not to mension it!
What do you think?

Background Challenge #7

Hello Bloggers
I had a DT challenge over at DO IT WITH DIGIS using backgrounds from our dear sponsor Di's Digi Downloads. We were lucky enough to get some lovely digis and had to also use a Tilda stamp. So I created this card. Go on and enter for yourself.

I used a combo of wax pencils with odourless spirit to colour the image and background image, then used Vintage Photo Distress Ink to blend the edge of the background card.
The sentiment is from one of Lynnes ticket sets. I used Stormy Sky Distress ink to co-ordinate the colours.

I hope you like.

A Card for a friend

Hi,
Just thought I would post this card that I made for a friend's birthday this week. The pink backing paper is from a 6x6 pack -My Minds Eye. Cuttlebug Butterfly embossing folder, Stamping up spine punch, sentiment is from a very old Do Craft stamp. The Magnolia had an apron full of Hearts so I punched some flowers and stuck them on top. She was also coloured with pencils and blended with odourless spirit. Hope my friend liked it.

In2crafting Challenge

Hiya all,
I have been busy playing around with ideas for my Nestability workshop that's coming up soon and realised I needed to get my November challenge card done for the shop I work at - In2crafting - Wickford.
The challenge is a sketch and the theme is circles. If your up for a great challenge too please feel free to join in and send your card into the blog or pop in to the shop.

For the background I used a cuttlebug folder - Carmello and distressed it with Worn Lipstick. Did the same on the Large scalloped and plain circles but also added Antique Linen. I stamped the Travelling Tilda with Black Memento ink and coloured her with Promarkers. I then used my white gel pen to add dots on her dress. The sentiment is from a set from Personal impressions. The paper flowers and gems are from Design Objectives.

Just Magnolia Challenge

Good morning although i'm not so sure as it's quite grey outside!
Anyway today i'm posting a card that I have made over the weekend playing with my lovely Princess Tilda.

The flourish at the top and bottom were the end pieces taken from Spellbinders Tags set.I also added a little detail with specks of crystal gems in a flourish design.
The Challenge i'm entering is
