Rock and Roll

Hello,
Sorry I haven't posted for a bit... Iv'e been busy working, shopping and trying but not gettting any xmas pressies and trying to start making my xmas cards! I love this time of year but it is soooo crazy isn't it?

Anyway today we have a new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS. It's challenge #17 and the title is   ROCK AND ROLL.

The image is a very old stamp that I had to blow away the cobwebs in order to use...ha..ha..ha. It's from and old company called Diamond Stamps and dated 1997, unfortunately not going anymore. It brings back memories and reminds me just how long Iv'e been stamping for (15yrs +) OMG!!! I wonder what's your oldest stamp?
I coloured this image with Promarkers and added a little vintage photo to the edges. Then mounted it up and seated it on a folded circle to create that "Rock and Roll" feeling!
I kept it quite simple as that's all it needed!
I hope you like

Man in your Life

Hiya,
Well today we have another new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS. Thanks to everyone who played last time, we had some brilliant entries again. So on to todays and we have a theme of The Man in Your Life. Here is my DT card.

This was such a fun card to make as my niece and her boyfriend have just brought their first home together...... and he is sooo excited about doing it up and moving in.... so I thought I would make a fun birthday card to make him smile!
I found this great digi image on Mo Mannings blog and had to have it. I used my Promarkers to colour it and made the ladder out of some scraps of card. I just made the sentiment up as I didn't have the right words. I can't believe I made this card in time too as I am normally running late. I just hope my nieces boyfriend likes it now!
Why not hop over to the blog and join in the fun with us DT girls.
I hope you like.

Halloween!

Hello
Goodness me aren't the weeks flying by! and the weather is certainly cooling down!
Anyway on to this weeks new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS  #13 Halloween. The design team were asked to create a card/ project using a halloween theme, so I thought I would wonder over to one of my fav Digi sites ( Mo Manning ) and grab myself an appropriate image. This is my card

Isn't he cute! I don't normally make cards for Halloween as we don't really celebrate it except for a glass of witches Brew on the night (Cream Soda with Blackcurrant and Vanilla ice-cream) Mmmm lovely! I don't watch the scary movies either cos i'm a scaredy cat! except the spoof comedy ones He He He!!
I used Cool Grey Promarkers to colour the bandages and Spellbinders circles to frame him. The pumkin is a Cuttlebug die shaded with a little orange ink from the Memento range and some glitter. Hop over to HERE COME THE BOYS and see what the rest of the DT have done, and while your there why not have a go and enter your self. I hope you like

# 12 Wheely Nice

Hello
Sorry I'm a bit late posting but yesterday we launched another new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS. The theme this time around is anything to do with WHEELS! so here is my DT card.

As you can see I used one of my very own digi designs (Biker boy Tricks) Hopefully out for sale very soon on CRAFTS 4 YOU. Speaking of which the sentiment is also from Lynnes site who insidently had a fantastic open day on saturday, thanks Lynne!
I coloured the image with Promarkers then used a little distress ink around the edges. The screw heads were punched out of silver card and I embossed the crosses on top.
I hope you like and don't forget to hop over to HERE COME THE BOYS to enter with a chance to win.
