#30 metal and or Embossing

Hello,
Rainy day again!!!!....and I thought it was supposed to be the summer!!
Well it does give us a perfect excuse to craft!!.....as if we really need one lol. Thanks to all of you who entered our challenge last week over at HERE COME THE BOYS and well done to the winner and runners up. This week we have a new challenge and it is

All you have to do is make one of your brilliant creations and add in some metal i.e charms, wire, metal corners etc or even emboss on metal sheets. Don't forget it must be for a Man or Boy.

Here is my DT card for the challenge and don't forget to check the rest of the teams inspirational cards too.

I used Basic Grey papers mounted with navy card stock. My image is a cool Kenny K and the sentiment is a clear stamp from a set from Personal impressions. Last of all not forgetting I used metal corners and star brads.
Hope you like it.

#29 More than One Fold

Morning all!
Well the sun is shinning at the moment which we didn't expect as the forcast is rain for the next week at least!!! But I'm not gonna complain.....just enjoy!
Last week on the 5th was my eldest sons 21st birthday and he really wanted to BBQ so under a gazebo my husband stood out and cooked burgers and bangers  in the rain and then brought them indoors where all family congregated! We still had lots of laughs.
Any way back to bisiness... So our new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS is

It's my turn to challenge and pick a winner.
We would love to see all your wonderful ideas for Men /Boys on cards created with more than just the usual one fold. It's being sponsored by the lovely sharon of Ewe 2 can Craft. The prize is a great selection of metal charms.
Here is my DT card using a center step card, but there so many more out there that i'm sure many of you have done and if not why not have a go and enter our challenge today!. To give you a few ideas why not try Side Step card, envelope fold card, Flip flop/swing card, Tri fold card or even a never ending card. Many of these recipes and more can be found on www.splitcoaststampers.com resourses page.

The imge I used is a great new Mo Manning one called King for a Day which reminds me of the men in my house probably in most houses actually!! lol. I coloured it up using my Promarkers and cut the relax out with my Cricut machine. These cards use very little backing papers but I used one from Wild Rose Studio FOR MEN. So hop on over to HERE COME THE BOYS and see what the teamies have created then have a go yourself!!
Happy Crafting!
