Halloween!

Hello
Goodness me aren't the weeks flying by! and the weather is certainly cooling down!
Anyway on to this weeks new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS  #13 Halloween. The design team were asked to create a card/ project using a halloween theme, so I thought I would wonder over to one of my fav Digi sites ( Mo Manning ) and grab myself an appropriate image. This is my card

Isn't he cute! I don't normally make cards for Halloween as we don't really celebrate it except for a glass of witches Brew on the night (Cream Soda with Blackcurrant and Vanilla ice-cream) Mmmm lovely! I don't watch the scary movies either cos i'm a scaredy cat! except the spoof comedy ones He He He!!
I used Cool Grey Promarkers to colour the bandages and Spellbinders circles to frame him. The pumkin is a Cuttlebug die shaded with a little orange ink from the Memento range and some glitter. Hop over to HERE COME THE BOYS and see what the rest of the DT have done, and while your there why not have a go and enter your self. I hope you like

# 12 Wheely Nice

Hello
Sorry I'm a bit late posting but yesterday we launched another new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS. The theme this time around is anything to do with WHEELS! so here is my DT card.

As you can see I used one of my very own digi designs (Biker boy Tricks) Hopefully out for sale very soon on CRAFTS 4 YOU. Speaking of which the sentiment is also from Lynnes site who insidently had a fantastic open day on saturday, thanks Lynne!
I coloured the image with Promarkers then used a little distress ink around the edges. The screw heads were punched out of silver card and I embossed the crosses on top.
I hope you like and don't forget to hop over to HERE COME THE BOYS to enter with a chance to win.

Tug of War

Hello blogland
Well sorry about not blogging much but I have been working alot covering  for others while they go on their Hols....Next week is my turn for a holiday...HOOORAYYYY!
Anyway this week is the start of another new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS.
#10 Shakers / Sliders
I decided to make a slider card and here it is

Pull the tab from the left to the right and you got a real tug of war!
The image is from Kenny K digi downloads and it is the August Freebie. I copied it twice but flipped one image and then joined them together. I coloured them with Promarkersand cut them out. The slider was made by cutting two thin slots, wrapping two small strips of card through the slots and attaching a long pull tab to the back. Then I used foam pads to attach the panel to the card front.
Finally I popped the image on to the front of the wrapped strips with foam pads.
Hop on over to HERE COME THE BOYS and check out what the rest of the team have created. Don't forget to have a go at the challenge yourself. I hope you like.

#9 Orange and Brown

Hello
Today we have another new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS and the theme is to use orange and brown, and it has to be for a man or boy. Here is my take on this weeks theme.
I would like to enter it into

A Spoonful of Sugar #162 Happy Birthday
Cards For Men # 17 Anything Goes

As you can see I used a great Teddy Bo image for my critter.....he is such a cutie and so easy to colour with my Promarkers. I kept the card layout nice and simple with only a little distress ink ( Vintage Photo) and wore the edges with a distressing tool. The card candy dots were made using a circle punch from Hobby Crafts own range. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You.
Hope you like it.... hop on over to HERE COME THE BOYS  to see what lovely creations the rest of the DT have done.

I used a little vintage photo distressing around the edges of the backing paper and my sentiment is from Lynnes shop SENTIMENTS 4 YOU. The image is coloured with Promarkers and of course I had to use a bit of string for embellishment.
So hop on over to HERE COME THE BOYS to see what fun ideas the other DT girls have done and don't forget to enter yourself too.
