# 23 D.I.Y

Morning to all,
It's sunny here at the mo and a warmish 5 degrees at this time in thew morning. I will be shortly going off to the Ideal Home Show at Earls Court in London with my Mum, two sisters and niece for a lovely treat. Anyway onto this weeks challenge.
Well done to the winners of the last challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS. Comic book Hero's fantastic cards made by all. This fortnights challenge No 23 is D.I.Y image or Embellishment. We would love to see all your creations surrounding the theme of DIY. As always there is a great prize up for grabs if you enter in the next two weeks but remember your entry has to be for a man or boy!
Here is my DT card for the challenge.

The background paper is from Personal Impressions and using a DIY man stamp from Diamond Stamps (very old company) coloured with my Promarkers and then I stamped the frame with a StampsAway clear stamp coloured it and cut it out. Finally I punched 3 little silver circles and scored them to look like screws. A card worthy of giving to my Dad!
So don't waste any time and hop over to HERE COME THE BOYS and have a look at the other DT members cards. Then have a go and enter yours.

What do you think ? Ha Ha......  isn't he cute! This little guy is another of Mo Mannings digi images and I coloured him with my Promarkers. The Hero was cut using my cricut machine and stuck onto a mount that was embossed using a cuttlebug folder.

#21 Vintage Feel

Helloooo...

Well it's that time again and we have another new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS. The theme this time around is VINTAGE FEEL. So we are asking all you lovely card makers to create a card for a man or boy in mind using a Vintage/ Antique or distressed feel to it. Here is my interpretation.

I had a fab time while I was making this card as I was spending the day with my dear friend at a crop day. We were crafting to our hearts content!! The image is an Edwin stamp that I have had for some time. I coloured him with wax pencils and odourless spirit then cut and mounted him on a nestie shaded with vintage photo ink. The DP was distressed with a tool and vintage ink. I then stamped the sentiment using one of Lynnes ticket stamps and distressed some of her twine, all available from Crafts 4 You.
I hope you like and have a go at this challenge your self. Check out what the rest of the team have created too. xxx

# 20 Favourite Song

Happy Sunday
Wow do we have snow here in Essex!!! Yipppeeeee........ about 17cms.

Another new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS starts today. The theme is Favourite Song, so I have chosen Born To Be Wild by Stephon Wolf

This gorgeous image is a digi from Mo Manning called Biker Babe and I thought it was so fitting to my choise of song. I kept the sketch simple and used my promarkers to colour him in.
Hop on over to the blog and see what great cards the rest of the team have created. In the meantime I hope you like mine. xxx

#18 Sketch

Hi,
and a happy Sunday to you all. I hope you all had a good christmas and are ready to start crafting again. Today we have a fresh new challenge for you over at    HERE COME THE BOYS
for this challenge we have a brilliant sketch

and here is what I have created using a great little Mo Manning image which reminds me of my 4 year old nephew.

I coloured the images with Promarkers and used Basic Grey papers from a pad called Oliver, brought from the lovely Lynne from her website CRAFTS 4 YOU. The sentiment is an old rubber stamp that I had tucked in a draw. Hop on over to HERE COME THE BOYS and see all the fab cards the rest of the design team girlies have created, then please have a go your self and enter to win some fab prizes. xxx

Rock and Roll

Hello,
Sorry I haven't posted for a bit... Iv'e been busy working, shopping and trying but not gettting any xmas pressies and trying to start making my xmas cards! I love this time of year but it is soooo crazy isn't it?

Anyway today we have a new challenge over at HERE COME THE BOYS. It's challenge #17 and the title is   ROCK AND ROLL.

The image is a very old stamp that I had to blow away the cobwebs in order to use...ha..ha..ha. It's from and old company called Diamond Stamps and dated 1997, unfortunately not going anymore. It brings back memories and reminds me just how long Iv'e been stamping for (15yrs +) OMG!!! I wonder what's your oldest stamp?
I coloured this image with Promarkers and added a little vintage photo to the edges. Then mounted it up and seated it on a folded circle to create that "Rock and Roll" feeling!
I kept it quite simple as that's all it needed!
I hope you like
